It's been a week since I came back from Singapore and I think I'm still a bit jet lagged. I've got to weather thru it. Here're some highlights from my trip:
Driving on the Bolte bridge, it's my favourite bridge in Melbourne, the views are pretty spectacular when you're driving on it, and it's quite exclusive because it's a toll road.
I was lucky to fly business class and the lounge breakfast was pretty interesting.
I also broke my own record for fastest I've taken to finish a book. If you need some light chick lit reading, this book is perfect.
I found one of this in the guest room of my parent's house, yes, I've been reduced to a guest. :( Anyway, I later found out it was a hand cream from 'The Faceshop', I reckon it's even cuter than the seal hand creams from etude house.
That night after dinner, I had supper with my sister and one of my favourite places in Singapore, Simpang Bedok. Can't go wrong with an iced milo….
…maggie goreng pattaya. I hate that every time I go, the chef seems to make it extra spicy. #sadface
..and the main reason why I go to simpang: Roti prata.
I enjoy visiting cause of the Kitties. Soju..
..and pretty Mochi.
I also had to have some bubble tea. My favourite is the Gongcha signature milk tea, that froth is amazing!
Since I can't find good La Mian in Melbourne, I had to resort to Din Tai Fong. Yummy Mushroom noodles….
..And some vegetarian buns.
Sugar toy thing, I'll explain another time.
Bought a balloon for a friend's hens night. The poor girl at the store didn't know what a hen's night is, I had to explain it to her.
Oh and can't forget the other kitty, old lady Rosie.
and the bride's dog, Lucky, apparently bored with us and decided to sleep.
At the party, there were paper shot cups that looked like soft drink cans.
The view from the nightclub Avalon. This was 3am…Zzz
I think I like to take photos of my camera more than I like to take photos with the camera. That's not good right?
Ice cream from an ice cream truck. Totally nostalgic and awesome.
View from another nightclub, KuDeTa, of Singapore City. That white structure is the amazing looking Art Science museum.
Random pattern I found.
Hot dogs from Ikea are the best. and cheap too.
Singapore's a great place to buy Japanese snacks. These tiramisu green tea chocolates were pretty good.
Part II soon…
