I was recently in London but missed on seeing this year's Serpentine Pavillion (which I was very disappointed about) but to cheer myself up, I'm posting pictures from last's year, which was by Sou Fujimoto.
I had a really bad cold that day, due to bad weather and the hotel didn't have any hot water that morning, but we sat and had a lovely Fortnum and Mason's breakfast and climbed onto the clear platforms.
Maybe it was the flu but I remembered it being a surreal experience. This structure that looked like a cloud from a distance but had amazing detail when you got close to it, truly unforgettable. There wasn't a single bad angle, everywhere you stood, there was something captivating to look at, especially when people walked through.
